Into Mountains N° 2

We developed this print series for our exhibition “Into Mountains: Wear Your Mirror” at the Musée des beaux-arts in Le Locle (MBAL). In it, we show an installation that emerged from our book “Into Mountains”. This book focuses on the rituals that people practiced at the time of the Chinese Jin Dynasty (265–419 BC) before venturing into the mountains. Between tradition, deities, and protective signs, the exhibition shows the evolution of our relationship with nature, once threatening and feared, now almost nothing more than an exploited and discredited resource.
