There are no national or geographical borders in the Arts and Design. Furthering the internationalisation of teaching and research and fostering cross-border cooperation and exchange is therfore a strategic priority at ZHdK. The “International Affairs Dossier” organizes and coordinates this international cooperation.

We have designed visuals for the annual report of the International Dossier that are inspired by natural phenomena and deal with natural forces in line with our focus – Biophilic Design. The migration of living beings and the constant action of natural elements such as ocean currents and winds is the basis for life on earth and embodies the interconnectedness of all parts of the world. With the design concept, we show the beauty of exchange and networking, completely free of politics and national borders.

Each visual is kept in a specific signal color, which is combined with black and white. These color combinations create a strong visual identity and support the clear communication of the individual topics and projects within the annual report.

The infographics are in the same design language as the visuals. It shows the international cooperation and exchange of the “International Affairs Dossier” of the ZHdK.
