Frau Mond

The label Frau Mond is concerned with the distribution and cultural exchange of Japanese art and design in Switzerland. The founder compares her activity to the moon. Compared to the sun, she stays in the background and reflects light on talents from Japan. She would describe her personality as water. She remains constantly in motion and adapts to the needs of her clients.

For the branding of Ms Moon, we were inspired by the “I Ching” philosophy. This explains the whole universe through an increasingly complex combination of strokes. Water is represented by an arrangement of three horizontal strokes – a balanced combination of Yin and Yang. The circle stands for the moon, but also for Japan. For the production of the business cards we have chosen a foil embossing. Due to the reflection of light, the visualisation of the moon changes constantly.
