Teehaus Liu – Tea culture in Bad Ragaz

The new tea house Liu was opened in Bad Ragaz. An inspiring place has been created where tea is at the center and can be enjoyed in peace and harmony. The owners want to pass on the culture of tea drinking. It is important to them to work with small, locally active producers who make the tea by hand and thus draw attention to the ancient tradition. “We trust the tea farmers and support them as partners. Our shared aspiration is that tea is not only about the value of the tea leaves themselves, but also about the dedication and commitment of the people who accompany the process, giving tea a spiritual experience and lasting positive meaning.”

We designed the entire identity for Teehaus Liu: Figurative mark, window signage, signs, website and the printed matter. The logotype incorporates all the important elements of tea: the earth, the water, the tea leaf, and the communal sitting together while enjoying tea.
